Ok so my daughter madison is 2.5. She was diagnosed with 1 UTI in June of 08 but then the cultures showed the bacteria didnt grow. Then 2 weeks ago she started having accidents like 3 a day and then the symptons got worse. She would scream that her belly hurt and grabbed herself and and said it hurt and she was running a fever so off to the ER we went. Once again they said urethitis and UTI and once again after the cultures not enough bacteria for UTI They did put her on bactrim in the hospital and for 7 days. The accidents stopped. One night I told her my back hurt and she said oh mommy do you have to pee? So she is associating back pain and peeing. The doctor is sending her for a renal ultrasound and urinary tract ultrasound on June 1st but no VCUG since the cultures come back looking clear. So she finished her bactrim on Mon. Now its wed. and the symptons are starting all over. She's having accidents saying she hurts down there and i dont know what in the world is going on. Has this happend to anyone else? And if so what was going on? I really just need some advice!
