Not sure to do. My 3 1/2 year old son has had no problem urinating up to now. ...... He is able to last night out a problem he has a regular pee in morning. After , he asks to go almost every 10 minuites. He insists he has to go everytime, nothing comes out. He will keep trying every 10 mins until around mid morning when he will be successful again. goes on all day. I believe amount is passed is his usual amount some reason, he feels like he has to go all of time. He says he has no pain he doesn't appear to be in any pain. I thought he might have an infection, he just finished taking Penicillen an ear infection.(finished yesterday). Help!

Your sons problem sounds similar to our grandaughter. Except she doesn't hold all night. She just started this frequency thing to urinate several times each hour 2 weeks ago. See my question to doctor. We had her checked for infection and there is none. Please keep us advised on your findings and we will do the same for you. We plan to take her back in to doctor if this does not stop in the next few days.

He should be checked out by pediatrician to make sure that he does not have an infection. Once infection has been ruled out, then he should be carefully evaluated for any underlying problems with careful exam and history. If necessary, seeing a urologist may help. As long as he does not have any infection or incontinence (accidents), this may represent a transient period of extreme urge to urinate, but other problems must be ruled out first.
