Ovary displaced to Labia in infant

Has anyone any knowledge or experience with this topic? A 6 week old infant recently had an ultrasound after her parents noticed a "knot" in her left labia. Radiologist and urologist state it is her left ovary and suggest surgery to restore it to the original position
