Post operation problemsMy niece is 10 years old. She was operated 3 weeks ago. One out of her two kidneys is a double kidney, so the urinary tubes were also two. One of the additional tubes was permanently creating an infectious area. So that tube together with the upper part of the double kidney (the upper portion, which was already damaged) was excised. The lower part functionates properly but the problem is that a lymphatic liquid is permanently running out of the wound. A special drainage was applied and the liquid is coming through it now but it never stops or lessens(it is about 200 milligrams in every 24 hours). We are very concern about that. The doctors say that in some cases it is normal to last even for 4 weeks but we are not sure of that. Did anyone of you have the similar situation? It is very urgent. Please, reply me.
Thanks, Maia P.S. Sorry for my English (especially for medical terms). I am not an English speaking.
