UNDESCENDED TESTICLE

Post a new topicby roody on Mon Oct 01, 2007 5:01 am

my son has only a single testicle
when at the time of infancy he had pneumonia always so he couldn't be operated.
HE IS NOW 23

later when he grew up he developed testicular pain , later it subsided

can he regain his other testecle?

he had a laproscopy , doc said he has only one-- some says that this condition is not possible
CAN we bring the retractile one through GONADOTROPIN INJECTION OR SO .
HE IS SO WORRIED ABOUNT THE SCROTUM SHAPE---
IS THERE ANY ARTIFICIAL TESTICLE BE IMPLANTED?
CAN TESTECLES BE TRANSFERED ONE TO ANOTHER,LIKE KIDNEYS?

If a urologist did the laporoscopy and he saw a blind ending Vas, then there is no testicle to bring down. This condition does exist. You can not transplant testicles but testicular implants (much like breast implants)are made.
