circumcision scar

Post a new topicby Guest on Mon Aug 12, 2002 9:12 am

can a circumcision leave scar tissue in the penis, causing it to bend? i am circumcised and have a scar that looks similar to the first example on this page:

http://www.circlist.com/styles/nicecuts.html

however, my scar is more jagged toward the head. anyway, my penis curves smoothly about 15 degrees and has always done so. also, when not erect, my penis is sometimes shaped like an hourglass. in this case, would my condition be considered peyronie's disease? thanks.

I do not think a circumcision scar will produce any penile curvature. The hourglass deformity described sounds like it might be due to Peyronie’s disease (were it to occur in the erect state).
Please see a urologist with a photo (digital or Polaroid) of your erection for an individual diagnosis and personal guidance.
