Curves and PillsDear Doc.
I have a penis that curves, yes very embarassing. I've done a little research on the web and find this to be called "peyronies disease". I am 20 yrs. old and it has been curved my whole life. it comes up straight for about an inch or so and then starts to go left for the remaining length. I don't have problems getting an erection or ejaculating. So to my question. Lately i've been reading into the penis enlargement pills you can take. But if i do take them and my penis does grow, will it curve even more? if thats the case then they would probably do more harm than good. But if they were to increase length without more curveature then it would do me much good indeed. I guess i figure my curvature hinders my sex life to me and my partner. So if it were a litte bigger it would help us both, her physically and me mentally. But if the pills not only add inches, but "degrees" that can't be good. I hope you can give me a good answer to this please. sincerlly Jay.....
Re: Curves and PillsA congenital penile curvature is not Peyronie’s disease, but a congenital curvature. It can be surgically straightened if it indeed is problematic re sexual activity.
Penile enlargement pills do not work. Reviewing this site and the Peyronie’s forum will get you much information and insight into this arena.
Dear Doc. I have a penis that curves, yes very embarassing...
Re: Re: Curves and PillsLots of males have congenital penile curvature and yours sounds fairly typical, though you don't state how far it actually curves.
The general theory with penile enlargement techniques is that the erectile tissue is expanded, thus allowing in more blood and, hence, a larger erection. If this were true, I would think that your curvature would be increased. However, there is really no evidence that penile enlargement techniques give any permanant improvement, and I think the pills are total rip offs. Some of the enlargement techniques involving manual streching and exercises have some anecdotal evidence of giving some slight increases, but they do not seem to be permanent and more than one male has been a little too vigerous and has damaged themselves. Note that the average erect length is closer to 5.5", not the 6.5" that is widely reported (the smaller guys either elected not to participate when a second party did the measuring, or they lied when they measured themselves). If you consider surgury, note that you will lose maybe 1/2" or so in length. If the curve interferes with sex, it would be worth the slight reduction, but if you can have sex without problem, then you should leave things alone.
Dear Doc.
