What does the treatment called iontophoresis consists of? How effective is to remedy Peyronie's Desease? How long does it take to see results? Where can a person get this kind of treatment in the United States?
I consulted with a famous urologist for a prostatic solution to my problem, the cost was in the range of $19,000. I am looking for other less costly alternatives.

Iontophoresis involves the use of a painless current of electricity to deliver drugs under the skin to the plaque. According to a report in The Journal of Urology, patients were treated with three different drugs – dexamethasone, lidocaine and verapamil. In tests with 100 patients, resolution of pain occurred in 96 percent of the cases, plaque reduction in 53 percent and improvement of penile deviation by 37 percent. Surgery is still the treatment of choice for extreme penile deformation.

This study was done in Austria and I don't know who might perform this in the US. You might try an internet search.

Before spending $19,000, I would do a LOT of research.
