Is this Peyronie's?

Post a new topicby SearchingforCure on Sat May 10, 2008 7:11 pm

My penis has curved to the right since I can remember. I don't really know how to explain this without feeling wierd as I've never talked to anyone about this, not even my wife of 10 years. We've never discussed it. Anyway, about 2 inches from the end it makes a fairly sharp bend to the right. When erect I can feel ridges that run perpendicular to my penis at the bend of it. From my research I see that Peyronie's occurs suddenly in men over 30. I am now 31 and have had this for as long as I could get erect. I remember being about 6 and my brothers making fun of it. I was embarrassed but it didn't really sink in. I must admit that it has kept me faithful to my wife as I am too embarrassed to show it to anyone else. There has been little or no change to it for as long as I can remember. I do not have any issues with sex other than that it is a little uncomfortable for me and (I believe) my wife. Does anyone think that it isn't Peyronie's? Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. I would just like to have sex with my wife normally without the right hand turn.

A urologist should be able to diagnose it.
