Peyronies disease

Post a new topicby jawbohn on Tue Nov 27, 2007 7:17 pm

To get to the point, is there any documented improvement out there? any total reversals? I see the phrase "self corrects in a year or two" alot; is this true? If so it would be very encouraging.

I have had this condition for well over 2 years and I have not experienced any correction.

Not very encouraging. However, Almost every thing I have read has indicated that Doctors seldom recommend surgery for this condition in the first year or two because the disease often self corrects over time, while the surgery (at least as near as I can tell) will leave you with diminished capacity permanently (depending on the procedure) after straightening.
