Surgery is scheduled 12/11After all the injections, all the meds, all the waiting I have finally come down to surgery.
I had options, more injections, surgery - 2 types - or do nothing at all More injections was not an option as i did not get much relief from the first set of Verapamil injections (maybe a 10 degree correction) Not doing anything was not an option either - I am only 57 and still a horny sucker lol So the option was either just have the surgery wherin the dr would cut back the skin, tie off the opposite side of the curve and do three stitches and then close me back up Or, just like above but include an implant. After discussing the options with both my wife and my doctor, we are all onboard for last option of surgery and the implant/ My reasoning was that, why go half way and find out I am not satisfied with the results or just go for it. So I plan, after the op, to have the rigidity and strenght of a 20 year old with the stamina and the experience of a 40 year old - pretty good for someone who is 57 So now what can i expect during recouperation
Re: Surgery is scheduled 12/11You sound like you have been through the mill and so here is a question. I have Peyronie's also but in addition I have trouble getting and maintaining an erection. My question is have you experienced this problem, do you believe it is related to your Peyronie's or is my problem separate due perhaps to lack of blood flow. I am 64. I do experience morning erections but hard to maintain.
Re: Surgery is scheduled 12/11Not sure, but that sure is a good question. I have had that problem as well.
all I can say is right now, i have had a erection for two weeks, I feel like the worse case of blue balls I have ever had but too sore to do anything about it. try asking your question as a new subject, the urodoc usually has a decent answer for everyone Rich
