Dad had prostate cancer back 7-8 yrs. ago and has been on a blood thinner(novasen??)for a number of years since his open heart surgery. Lately he’s been getting bleeding(hematuria) apparently caused by the chemo from his prostate surgery days and the doctor has taken him off his blood thinners. This has him concerned as there was no other alternative given him from the doctor…..any similsr situations.
