I need a straight answer to how much time between diagnosis of adenocarcenoma of the prostate should surgery be done? How long before the bowel problems and cramping starts to slow down after radiation is finished? Thank you

You don't give much information, but surgery can be done about 6 weeks after biopsy.
Obviously you're thinking of other possible treatment/s, but without details of age, Gleason score etc., you question can not be satisfactorally answered. I suggest you contact your local Prostate Cancer Support Group, they are best placed to answer all your concerns as is your Dr.
