I am 56 and have been living with prostate issues for the past eight years. The prostate problem occurs on an average of every four months or seasonally if you wish. The pain and discomfort last for about three weeks. The doctor prescribes CIPRO for two weeks, regardless if there is an infection. Truthfully, I can not tell if CIPRO is effective or not. My Doctor prescribed Cipro for 4 weeks for having blood in urine. I'm having sever pain in my right shoulder and kidney that caused by Cipro. I never had kidney pain or should pain before using Cipro and I also have sever pain in my Achillie and I have bitter test in my mouth. Please do not take Cipro, it will kills you.

Well the same here, I have been on every med known to a doctor for Non Bacterial Prostratitis, and Iam 36y.o I had my first surgery when I Was 35y.o and they cut a V in it and well it was to be a outpatient surgery I stayed the weekend, due to severe bleeding, and then it didnt work so this year I had what they call microwaving it and still hasnt worked, I have the severe pain and severe pain in my lower back and hard to unrinate, and went to the ER just a few days ago and the doctor slapped me on Cipro and I told him look I have been on every med known to man and they are tryng to have me go to UVA so antoher doctor can slap me on meds, I talked to my nurse and she said my doctor wants to use taking the prostrate out as a last resort, I said look I refuse to be a guinea pig for anyone anymore, Iam tired of the meds not working and the side effects I just want it out, and refuse to keep traveling for all this, I am a singel dad to a 12y.o boy and I need to life to live,

So anyone wants to ask me anything or give your thoughts, Iam lost and confused, is all I know is I cant live this way anymore,
