Dull groin pain

Post a new topicby christo_1 on Thu Jan 29, 2009 8:34 am

Hi, i am 27 years old suffering from dull pain in my groin (left side) since a couple of months ago. The Dr first said it was mild prostatitis (based on high WBC in urine analysis) and DRE. I was breifly on antibiotics, and since then the symptoms come and go.
Further Urine culture and prostatic fluid culture showed nothing unusual, but urine analysis still show WBCs.
A doppler scan of the testicles was normal.
A Kidney and pelvic ultrasound was normal as well, except for a prostate weight of 9g (<- is this normal).
The pain is very dull, and sometimes gets stronger a bit. I noticed its gets stronger after running.
Aside form pain and WBCs in urine analysis, the only other symptoms are semen in urine and frequent urination.
Any help!
