Hi,
I am 44 yrs old, have had high BP for 20 yrs, sometimes take Viagra for ED caused by BP meds. About 4 weeks ago I noticed myself going to urinate much more often, pain during and after from deep inside. The next time I had an orgasm it was Very painful. Told my wife about it, made appointment with UR doc. I also felt uncomfortable sitting on hard chairs, sometimes felt as if a ping pong ball had grown up inside rectum. Doc asked me for all symptoms, I added no energy, very little interest in sex. He ordered a urine check, it was clean, did prostate exam, very painful. He said it was enlarged and soft in the middle. Seemed to take 4 or 5 hours to forget about that discomfort. He gave me Levaquin samples of 750 mg for 7 days and script for 500 mg for 10 more days. Samples are gone as of yesterday, I seem to be no better, RX wants $60.00 for 10 Levaquin pills. They said Cipro was a comprable and was only $10.00 since generic. My questions...will having orgasm's speed up recovery since it cleans things out? How long till meds show signs of helping? Do you think Cipro is just as good as Levaquin? I am tired of feeling bad like this all the time. Any advice is welcomed. Thanks
