Not sure but...

Post a new topicby Xarekrna on Wed Oct 14, 2009 7:00 pm

I am a 33 year old male. About 10 years ago I was sleeping and had to pee. Was laying on my stomach when my 7yr old neice jumped on my lower back. I immeadtly felt the pressure and went to urinate. Starting a couple of hours later I felt like I had a low grade fever, was weak and couldnt urinate or elimante properly. Sence then about once a month or so the symptoms have returned. Usually I just drink cranberry juice take ibuprofin, and vitamin C pills. After 2 or 3 days the symptoms subside and I return to normal. I have noticed a large amout of mucus on my fecal mater after an episode. The pain is centered in the middle lower pelvis, about 5 inches below my belly button, but has spread to my lower back. Recently the pain level has increased dramaticly, and are accompanied by night sweats and chills. From time to time( more recently )I have seen red in my stools. Not sure if its blood, maybe I ate something red. Please help... I am kinda scared.... Wanna be here to see my litte daughters married .....

My post is right before yours. I have almost exact same symptoms you have. Ibuprofen relieves the symptoms after a few days and the symptoms came back without warnings especially after sex. I am now pretty sure that it is some sort of inflamation or muscle problem in my pelvis, it's not cancer because cancer symptoms will not go "on & off" and will not get better with our ibuprofen or craberry juice. One thing I have to remind you that because of frequently use of Ibuprofen, I am now having stomach problem and I am on medication for it, use Tylenol to control the pain and the swollen will go away on its own. I hope that helps to ease for fears. Best of luck & wishes.
