Prostatitis

I believe that I caught a ureaplasma infection (NGU) in my groin and it spread to my prostate. (doctors screened for all stds -neg) The CDC says that ureaplasma urealyticum infection usually goes away within 6 months (WITHOUT) treatment, but what about the prostatitis? Everything I read says prostatitis is extremely hard to kill. problem is, it is really annoying.

So what should I do now that I am out of health insurance? Keep up the doxycycline? Any other ideas?
