Post a new topicby scared on Wed Aug 22, 2007 2:14 pm

I am wondering if anyone on here has ever heard of anyone getting molluscum in the mouth. I know it is possible but rare. Let me give you some background. I am a heterosexual male, only had fenmale partners with condom use. I waws diagnosed with molluscum on my genitals by my derm 3 weeks ago and she said dont waorryabout it and treated it with liquid nitrogen. I then noted a few timy while dots in my mouth a few weeks later. STDs testing is negative....including HIV ..all done 3 weeks ago. My last sexual contact with any female was over 7 months now. I am freaking out because I think I have a weird immunodefeciency!!! Does anone else know why a healthy male would get molluscum in the mouth. Please help...anyone!!!

White dots in the mouth can be normal, so I wouldn't worry about your immune system. If they persist, you might not have noticed them before, then return to your doctor
