Prostatitis and hidden STD's?

Post a new topicby Meister on Tue Oct 23, 2007 3:52 pm

Dear sirs.
I'm dealing with prostatitis from some time ago. I really would like, please, some orientation about what to do.
I will explain, that is an prostate inflamation, in which you feel some heat in the perianal area, sometimes some fieber and weakness, and a sensation of, when urinating, that you do not empty the bladder completely.
I was trying to find out how to solve this, because it can really make you sad and depressed. There's days in which you feel really bad and you just want to rest. But, how to know if it is psychological or it is really an infection?

When I'm under stress or just overworked, I got sick. But personal life, sexual and affective, also it is affected. I try to find out, if it is some muscular tension, or maybe repressed traumatic feelings can make you feel bad. (You get hurted sometimes)
But I would like to ask, is there any infection or STD associated to prostatitis? An infection due to hidden syphilis or chlamydia? If it is so, how can it be detected?
