Hi,

I recently got blood work from a lab, it says,

HIV 1&2 Antibody...Non Reactive (.38)
Cutoff Rate...1.000

can you please explain what is it? do i have hiv? if yes then is my family in danger of this because of me? i live with my parents i an not married...please help me asap.

We are not the HIV experts, but that data looks like a negative test to me (i.e. any number below 1.00 is normal).
Your health care provider should be able to explain the test result better since he/she ordered the test.
