Shuywanna,
As an STD nurse, I know that folks are not always truthful about who and when they have had sex. However, it has been suspect in this practice, that an untreated male can remain positive and asymptomatic for years. His partner may or may not develop symptoms. Often the trichomoniasis is not discovered with her vaginal exam, but she is treated for bacterial vaginitis with Metronidazole (Flagyl). She then is cured of the trichomoniasis... but over time will develop symptoms again. This is not necessarily valid information, just our observation.
