How do you encourage a person to quit smoking that has been smoking since the age of 16?

I wished I knew how to motivate everyone to end their tobacco addictions. I wished I knew how to inspire people to not start them. I have workable plans to slow tobacco and end tobacco sales and I'd wished I knew how to get them enacted.

2 web sites for you to visit that might help.

A). http://richsplea.synthasite.com/ A personal tale of throat cancer, not for the squeamish, but a true story and a clear depiction of just one of tobacco's ugly consequences.

B). www.quitnet.com A site dedicated to those working to quit tobacco, primarily smoking. An excellent place to pose your question to others in the sale boat. The site is quite active and you will get some input quickly.

Good luck.

Making someone quit smoking is a very difficult thing. It is completely up to the person to quit the habit. One requires a strong will and desire to quit. These are not the only factors. Quitting smoking is really hard to do to yourself, if you started in a very young age. The first thing you can do is to accept to yourself that you are ready to quit smoking because in the first thing it is hard just the moment you want to smoke try to eat candy as a replacement for cigarette every time you feel it or eat some food. I hope this little thing can help you to overcome in quitting smoking.

Thank you.

I think its better to be with them 24 hours for few months. And whenever they feel like smoking try to divert them and give them something to eat ,that should be there favourite.By doing this we can help them.
