Mild intermittant unilateral pain

Post a new topicby panculture on Fri Jan 25, 2008 8:35 am

I am a 50 yo WM in with 10yr hx small asymptomatic varicocele
Physically active and In good health except for being started on coumadin therapy this past week
for recent onset of Paroxysmal Intermittant Self-Terminating Atrial Fibrillation Last INR 2.5. No hx of trauma to site.

Yesterday noted MILD (3/10) pain in left testicle. Pain presents ONLY if teste is bumped as when putting on pants or underwear. Pain resolves within 2-3 seconds and does not affect ADL's

Self exam reveals no assymetry, edema, discoloration or discharge except for baseline varicocele
Urination, erection, and ejaculation are not affected.

Small area at very top of left teste localizable to approx 10mm (fingertip) size noted to be locus of
intermittant pain. Even on mild palpation pain was only 3-4/10 and quickly resolved.

I plan on watching for a couple of days... any thoughts please?
