Scrotal Pain

Post a new topicby slabdraw on Tue Apr 14, 2009 12:28 am

I hope someone out there can help me. I suffer 24/7 with Scrotal pain and don't know why and my Urologist dosen't either. By way of history, on Jan 2, 2008 I had my bladder removed (cancer) and I now wear a urostomy. Immediately after the surgery my scrotum swelled to the size of a baseball for about 10 days and then it went back to normal and no pain. I proceeded to take chemotherapy from Feb through May 2008. At that time I was diagnosed with a cancerous mass at the base of my Urethrea. On June 12, 2008 further surgery removed the Urethrea completely and my scrotum again swelled up to the size of a baseball for approx 10 days and went to normal. However, then I started experiencing constant pain and still do now, 10mos later. My urogolist had a c-scan and an ultra-sound done and the results were inconclusive. The urologist felt around the scrotum and could not feel any mass. He is completely at a loss as to why I am having this pain. It is becoming unbearable, (can't sleep, etc) and the pain is more severe after sitting for long periods. Any ideas?????

I'm sorry to hear of your pain. You asked me to inquire with my urologist about your condition. I have the same problem and my doctor has no idea what is causing it. My only advice to you is to get another opinion from another urologist. At 17yrs old, you need to continue to pursue a remedy for your problem. Good luck and God bless you.

Hi! I'm 29! I would like to ask what is your condition right now? What happen to your case? Do you have time to visit a urologist to check up your scrotal pain? Please let me know your situation right now coz I'm also suffering with scrotal pain! There's a corn-pee size on the left side of my scrotum and every now and then it seems like changing into more larger size! I'm afraid coz it's more painful and itchy now. Please if you already consulted to a urology, is it ok if you can give me the name of the doctor and the name of the hospital where he work with! I need your help! Can you give me your ym adrress so that we can communicate for this matter! Please add me [moderator note: e-mail address has been removed] my ym address! Hoping for your help! I'm also from the Philippines! Thanks and God Bless!
