Testicular Pain/ Scrotal Pain

I have had testicular pain for a few years. My doctor told me I have a chronic infection of the prostate and have been on antibiotics ever since. The problem started out with severe pain in both testicules upon walking or sitting. I could not even cross my legs because the pain was so severe. He also suggested for me to wear 3 pairs of underwear to help hold them in place and believe it or not, it actually helped. The pills also helped, but then there are times that it starts to get worse and lately the pills don't seem to be working at all. The pain is there all the time and is starting to become severe again!
Has anyone ever had a problem like this before ? If so, what were you told and how were you treated ?

My problem is quite different (see 16 months on) and I don't know what country you are living in, as believe the attitudes of doctors in the UK are a bit different from the US. I am from England. Urologists appear to have some idea, whilst GP's have absolutely none !!

All I would say is that it may be worth seeing another specialist. What I have learned from my whole ordeal is that testicular problems don't appear to be very black and white unless you are producing strange fluids or have lumps.

Thanks for replying to my post paininthenuts. I live in Canada and I am waiting for another appointment at the monent with a specialist. Hopefully they will be able to shed some light on my problem !
