Testicular Pain During EjaculationI'm a 26 and have been experiencing pain in the right side of my right testicle for 4 months during ejaculation. I also have been experiencing pain during urination, fairly regularly during this period and some general discomfort and itching in testiscle region.
I went to a urologist multiple times who performed several urine and semin cultures and even a blood test. He said I did not have any STDs and that it is likely a bacterial infection of the prostate. I was prescribed Doxycyclone for 2 weeks. This didn't do much. Next time Amoxicylyn for 3 weeks. This appeared to be helping after 1 week, but the symptoms returned after that. Next time he prescribed the Zpac (Zythromax) for the standard 5 days. This did nothing. I find that the pain is worse when I'm at work and sitting in a chair. So that's where I stand. I have no idea what to do next. This is really degrading my quality of life. Please help! Thanks, Dave
Re: Testicular Pain During EjaculationWith your Doctors consent you might want to try an alpha blocker like Flowmax for 3 months along with an antibiotic for 6 weeks, perhaps the amoxicillin combined with an antiinflamatory like Motrin of Celebrex for 6 weeks. Good luck
Re: Testicular Pain During EjaculationI am having a similar pain, but I am not able to ejaculate with any force, with a burning in the area of the Vas deferens, I believe, I went to Baylor urology here in Houston, with no success.
Is there help? Robert
Re: Testicular Pain During EjaculationThanks for the help. I will ask my doctor about this option.
I'm tending to think that this may not be bacterial, as the antibiotics don't appear to do much. If that is the case what else might cause the pain and what could be done to help this? Also, does the pain in the right testicle indicate anything in particular? Thanks again, Dave
