testicular pain related to allergies?

Post a new topicby mtwfire on Sun Mar 01, 2009 9:08 pm

I have a chronic pain problem and hope someone has an answer. I have been in a monogomas marriage for 9 years now and have had chronic testicular pain after intercourse for about 8 of the 9. For many years we thought it was some kind of infection, but after every test under the sun, and every doctor under the sun, we found there to be none. During this process we found my sperm to be immotal. They are there and healthy, just not swimming forward. I have also discovered food allergies during this process, which lead to severe nausea after eating eggs, milk or seafood. I have stumbled on some relief when taking benadryl or claritin before intercourse. The pain doesn't seem to last as long or be as bad as when unmedicated. The pain sometimes lasts as long as 3 weeks. Needless to say our sex life suffers when I am in chronic pain. My question is this, (because I can find nothing on the relationship between allergies and pain) has anyone heard of this and if so any ways of treating it?
