I'm 56 with a low normal testosterone of 323, free testosterone of 54 but a low PSA of 1.3. I have a lot of symptoms including low sexual desire, low HDL 30, low libido, less firm erections and etc. My health has always been good. In the past year the symptoms have really increased so I took tests to see if this is the problem and it seems it is.I also have gained a middle where it used to be flatter. I have researched many hours for the best info on this subject which in my case seems to be caused primarily by age. I would like your comments. I'm going to my doctor for more blood tests on Dec. 26,2008 and hoping to get referred to an Endo. I'm going to ask for injections and my wife will give them to me with doctors directions. I'm jumping the gun because the doctor hasn't agreed yet but these are my hopes. Viagra doesn't seem to help much because of my lack of sexual desire.I have no problems getting an erection but after a while I just seem to lose interest. Thank- you.
