Can narcotics really lower your testosterone levels?

Post a new topicby rholley84 on Sat Dec 01, 2007 1:27 am

I've tried a lot of research methods and visited a couple different docs, some places say abuse of narcotics can hinder your body from producing testosterone, while others just say it's all in your head. I'm hoping someone call tell me if they've experienced the same issues.

I cannot say for sure, but I am 45 and abused cocaine for yrs and now my T levels are low enough for testosterone replacement therapy. I always blamed poor sexual performance on cocaine. However it was still poor after I quit. I am cocaine free for 2-3 yrs and now using Testim to regain what I once had.
