I have a question about my husband

Post a new topicby MStarke on Fri Aug 22, 2008 1:26 pm

I really hope some one can answer me. Can low testosterone make a fertile man think he is gay? My husband came to me 3 months after we were married & told me was gay, I did some research & he has all the symtoms of a man with low testosterone

PLEASE CAN THIS BE TRUE???? IF SO I CAN GET HIM HELP.

Good morning, unfortunately for you he was born gay. Low Testosterone doesn't affect sexuality in this matter. Low T can affect the mental affects of questioning if you are gay or straight. Typically that is due to low self-esteem, depression, abnormal male sexual characteristics, feeling inferior based on size, etc.

On-going trauma caused by rape or sexual assault can also cause anyone to question his/her sexuality.

Low T can surely make you question your sexuality, but you have to consider he was born to be what he is. If you love him, listen to him and then decide what you are going to do, marriage wise. If he is gay, you cannot stay in a committed relationship unless you are a gay male Ma'am.

Perhaps a marriage counselor that specializes in gender issues (or a general marriage counselor) can help you and him before your lives become more undone. I am sorry, and I wish you and your family the best of new fortunes.
