Low T Level with High Cholestrol with sleep apneaI am 37 M and just found out my T levels is 8 with a bad cholestrol of 300 with sleep apnea. I knew something was wrong for the last 6 months when i felt very tierd all the time and sleepy during the day. things were not "balanced" in me...we are in the process of trying to have a baby but with these health issues can it be possible for us? i suspect my sperm count will be so low that we will not be able to conceive.......Can anyone give me suggestions...& direction?.
My MRI for the pituitary glands are normal ...no cancer....the testes are normal no shrinkage. All other are normal in my blood work. No STD liver etc are all fine. Just T levels and Cholestorl out of wack.Doc put me on Crestor and asphrin for now. I was on a high protein, low carb diet for the last 6 months, lost 20 lbs and i put the weight right back in 60 days. This is the heaviest i have been at 300 currenlty. PLEASE HELP.
Re: Low T Level with High Cholestrol with sleep apneaYour title mentions sleep apnea, but I can't find anything about it on the post.
Sleep apnea is capable of lowering testosterone levels significantly. Get to a sleep specialist and get this taken care of. Hypothyroidism can also cause low testosterone as well as weight gain and sleep apnea. If you need more specific info feel free to email me at [moderator note: e-mail address has been removed] ~John
