Pituitary vs. testicles

Post a new topicby Smiley34 on Wed Sep 23, 2009 9:26 am

I've recently been diagnosed as having low testosterone I had symptoms of low T immediately after a groin strain (hot flashes, fatigue, and weakness). I have been tested in the past for pituitary function and the tests results were normal, indicating improper testicular function. This wasn't surprising given the nature of the injury. However, as time has passed, another test of the pituitary has been called up. If the tests show lowered performance of the pituitary, would enhancing its peformance provide any positive benefit as a "new-balance" may have been achieved since the past test. Why would boosting the pituitary glands performance result in increased testosterone production? Would there be any benefit to treating the pituitary gland for a testicular problem?
