Testosterone Deficiency and Avodart (medicine)

I am in late sixtys and take Avodart for BPH I also have some symptoms of Testosterone Deficiency Will taking testosterone cancel the good effects of Avodart or vice-versa?

It may cancel the effectiveness of both treatments
