Testosterone Therapy Side EffectShortly after I started using Testim gel (2 tubes daily), I developed a severe skin rash on my chest. It was diagnosed as Folliculitis. After a lengthy period of time, I was skin tested by a Mayo Clinic dermatologist for a variety of items and the largest adverse reaction came from Testim.
I discontinued Testim and also took antibiotics and some prescription lotions and eventually the rash disappeared. Due to my skin sensitivity, the Mayo Doc believes that any form of testosterone therapy (even oral or shots) probably would result in a recurrence of the rash I guess I could live with Viagra but I'm concerned about the other low testosterone issues - low bone density, muscle weakness, lack of energy, etc. Any ideas out there?
Re: Testosterone Therapy Side EffectDear Camai7,
Sorry to hear about this skin rash issue while using Testim. There's some steps which you can try rigourously : #1. Do the Exercise with heavy weight lifting ( Start gradually - just little bit more than you can lift for the first month on 3rice a week frequency and then go up carefully ) with specific repeat- ations which your body / muscles can bear #2. Hire a Good Nutritionist and Watch each and every item you eat. Tell him / her to give you balanced food to increase the Testosterone #3. Nuts, Eggs, Broccoli, Coliflower - these are the some I was prescibed #4. Meditation and Self Suggestion to Stimulate the Pituatary Gland to produce the Testosterone Naturally would work - but, it takes TOTAL Commitment, Concentration and Consistent Effor for this. Hope this Helps... Good Luck, - Supernova
