Too high T level on Gel?

Post a new topicby billsblues on Fri Mar 21, 2008 9:31 pm

I am a 47 year old male that has been diagnosed low T for a year and a half now. Long story short---I have been to 2 different GP's and they both prefer Gel to shot for increasing T level. My baseline T level is 190-200. But each time I begin Gel therapy, usually 5 to 7.5gm/day, my level shoots to 1450 to 1500 after 60 to 90 days! Has anyone else had this? Would the shot be better in my case? I've made an appt with an endocrinologist, but it's weeks away. Would a urologist be of more help. Please help with any opinion or experience that would help. Thanks.
