On Sept. 2nd I had a sling procedure done along with a cystocopy. I went home a little sore but otherwise fine. Until I tried to pee. It hurt like hell and nothing came out. I called the Dr.’s office and was sent back to the hospital to a womans evaluation unit. They put in a catheter and told me I could remove it on Sept. 4th.
Removing it was like heaven. I called the Dr.’s office again, and was aganin told to go to the hospital. I received another catheter which I told had...Read the full article

Michelle,

I just went through the sling procedure on 12/22/08 thinking it would be a quick out-patient procedure. As you I am two weeks into wearing a catheter. Each time I try to void i can't. Tell me how long you went before it did get better. And hopefully it did get better.

Hello Ladies
On Jan 15th 2009 i also had this preceedure and a partial on the second day in the hospital the catheter was removed. I drank two pitchers of water to only void a small amount and the catheter was put in to measure the remaining unrine. The next day it was repeated and the catheter remained for a week. The catheter was removed (outpatient) and i voided more then what remained. Durning the next week i started to void better and better and then i started leaking and having pain in my groaning. I returned (outpatient) unrine test, voiding and the catheter was put back in for another week to allow my bladder to rest. I'm taking an antibiotic because of the catheters. I hope that things will get better.
