external devices for men compression rings

Post a new topicby Guest on Fri Sep 13, 2002 4:24 pm

Where can I locate information on compression rings (fit around the penis and are inflated to pinch off urine flow)? Are they still available for men? Who makes them? Where are they available?

We sometimes (but not often) prescribe the Cunningham clamp. They are made by Bard, Inc.
I believe they are a prescription only item as urethral injury can occur with improper usage.
A Google search today shows many suppliers.
