Urinary Incontinence

My 82 years old mother has to take medicines - Furix - for hypertension and because of that she almost can't move from her toilett. She has to urinate about 25-30 times a day and most often she is wetting herself. Her life has become unbearable and meaningless as it is. It's impossible for her even to travel together with me in my car or participate in a conducted tour or visit a relative in their home.She very well understands the need of medication but I wonder is there really no "milder" form of medication.
Furthermore, she is suffering from a very rare sickness called myelofibrosis which eventually will kill her.
