post op problems after sling surgery10 weeks ago had pubovaginal sling surgery with cystocele and rectocele repair. I now am leaking much more than before surgery. This is a major problem not a little inconvenience. Has anyone else had similar results?
Re: post op problems after sling surgerySuch an outcome is quite unusual, but not unheard of, with sling surgery in my experience. Readers?

Re: post op problems after sling surgeryI had the cystocele and rectocele repair in July 2007. The cystocele was done using a sling. I am very unhappy with my results. My husband and I couldn't have sex for 4 months per the doctor. Now when we try it is so painful, it's almost unbearable. I also am leaking on myself more than I ever did before. I have to wear a pad all the time now.
I had the repair done 30 years ago (not the sling procedure) and that repair was the best thing I ever had done and lasted 30 years. I wish I had asked for it to be done the old fashioned way this time. I feel this surgery was useless.
Re: post op problems after sling surgeryI am a 67 year old male who had the sling operation a month ago. I am worse off now then before.
I can't walk or sit without pain and mostly in the back of my legs near the groin area from what ever was used to strap my legs down. I'm back to wearing a clip because my leakage is worse. Very depressing.
