Urinary Incontinence and Neurotin

Post a new topicby yomike on Mon Jul 13, 2009 5:46 pm

I am a 38 year old guy that has severe urinary incontinence both day and night, and after a bunch of test, my doctor put me on Neurotin. I had hurt my back, and ever since I have leaked urine with no sensation or warning at all.
I am healthy and all of the test came back perfect, and she admitted that she had no idea what was causing the incontinence, but she still wants me to take the medication.
Has this happened before where a person is incontinence, and there is nothing anybody can find as a cause for it?
This is getting old real fast, and so is the "protection" that I have to wear. It is hot out here, and the heat rashes are killing me! I tried the clamps, and cath's ect and found that the adult briefs offer the best protection.
Any thoughts or input would be appreciated!
