Urinary Tract Infection

Hi Everyone ,

I hope you can help me ! My daugher now 12 years old has had constant infections since she was like 3 the infections used to go to her kidneys but the reflux stopped as she got older like the doctors said when the tube got longer and they were right about that . But she still continues to get bladder infections Uti's the doctors did surgery thinking her uteras were still refluxing but that was not the case they only thing they found was her bladder was slightly inlarged and inflamed and her uritha was half the length it should be. She has had one infection after another sometimes infections that won't go away like the one she has now she has been on two rounds of antibiotics and still infection. She has been on profalaftic antibiotics alot in the past but not currently. She has developed resistance to a few antibiotics. My question for everyone is what can be done when the uritha is too short?? I appriciate any information and advice .
