I've been prone to UTI's ever since I started having sex. My doctor told me to take Macrobid everytime I have sex. I've been doing this for over a year and I still keep getting a UTI Also, I've been getting Bacterial Vaginosis on and off. Do you think these two things are related?
Should I see a urologist instead of my gyno? I would really like to not have this problem every time I have sex.

Since the Macrobid should work one question would be are you having anal intercourse or sexual manipulation? Also if you use any sex toys they maybe causing the infections. Showering and urinating after sex may also help.
