Undiagnosed Problem

Post a new topicby Guest on Fri Jan 30, 2004 8:10 pm

Hi,

I am a 25 yr old healthy -for the most part:)- male. I began having urinary problems 7 years ago. I first visited my normal doctor, then a urologist, another urologist and then again a couple of weeks ago another urologist with no avail. I will try to explain the best I can. Here are my symptons:

Frequent Urination

Pain in the Urethra during Urination

Pain in the Urethra during Ejaculation

Slow starting urination

My bowls don't seem to be emptying all the way.

I can urinate and then in 20 seconds or so, I will have to urinate again and only a small amount comes out. This can keep up for a long time.

My first doctor prescibed that I eat more fiber.
My first urologist prescribed me some stress relief pills.
The second urologist couldn't find anything wrong.
The third and final urologist couldn't find anything either. Here is what he did at the last visit. Urine sample, prostate exam, and some sort of instrument to measure and possibly enlarge the urethra.

I would really like to get this problem taken care of but am a little hesitant to go to another urologist without a small amount of knowledge before I go. Does anyone have an idea of what this may be?

Thanks
