Urinary Tract Infection

I am from Colorado and just moved to Maryland. My boyfriend has lived here for the past 11 months and everytime I come here I get a UTI When he would come to CO it never happend! Is it because of the change in climate? It is really humid here compared to CO. I am using the IVO over the counter medicine, but it says to not use it for a long period of time. The only problem I have is my insurance does not kick in for 90 days. What can I do to help this from reacuring all the time. It's only been three weeks since I have been in Md but I am missrable.

I started getting my UTI's in 2005, on visits to see my boyfriend in Bermuda. I too have been, and still
am very miserable and confused, and am seeking answers.
I have another antibiotic resistant infection, and am wondering if there will ever be an end to this. I've done everything with diet, supplements etc and am still suffering.
I hope you are well by now, and if you have any info re this topic, pls let me know!

HEy my dear.... I feel your pain as I have had many of the same problems as you over the past 4 months... I do had an infection called strep that antibiotics wouldn't help (I seemed to be immune) but if it's left untreated you can end up with low hemoglobin levels and iron defiency anemia (which is what happened to me)..... I too tried many different antibiotics but the one that worked for me was doxycycline.
This drug is commonly excused because it also treats STD's.... but it also treats strep bacteria found in some UTI's.

PS... nothing herbal will work except to prolong the infection and cause you to end up with worse problems...
