U.T.I. Problems

Post a new topicby sarat on Wed Oct 15, 2008 8:26 am

I am a 35 Yr. old female,I have a question, and i hope somebody has a answer. I had my appendix taken out at the end of April 2008, And ever since the operation i have a U.T.I and it will not go away. I have tried all home remedies but they are not working. I have not been to the doctor because of loss of insurance. Does anybody know why this is happening or suggestions?

More than likely the reason you have an UTI is because during surgery they inserted a catheter to drain urine from the bladder. A catheter causes irritation in that area and alot of people develop infections after having one. Also I am a very experienced person in the uti and kidney infection department and I have never had a home remedy work. You will need something to kill the bacteria in your bladder. If you continue with this infection it will grow to be much more serious. If you continue to self medicate you may end up in a costly stay at the hospital because the infection went to your kidney. Please take care of yourself and find a way to get to a doctor. Best Wishes! and God Bless!
