kidney cyst

Post a new topicby toots1044 on Fri Oct 19, 2007 11:38 pm

I had an ultra sound done this week and was told I have a 9mm cyst on my right kidney. Does the ultra sound show cancer or will I need a CT Scan? The pain is radiating from lower abdomen to right flank and is steady. Is there any medication out there for pain? The Gall Bladder and Pancreas are normal and so is my blood work. I do not have high WBC they were normal. Please somebody respond, I'm scared to death it's cancer.

Is it possible that antibiotics are causing some of my pain? It seems that if I miss a day, the pain isn't as bad, then I start taking it the next day and the pain seems to get worse. Of course, it could just be the kidney cyst acting up. The doctor said I could or could not take them. You think he would make up his mind. I am on Trimpex 100mg. Why won't the doctors give you anything for pain? They say take Tylenol but sometimes the pain gets worse and Tylenol doesn't help. I still don't know if the cyst is benign or cancer. CT Scan is supposed to be scheduled. Please anyone out there, please reply. I have a needle phobia so getting a CT Scan done has me horrified. You think I could handle a little pain as the pain I am now having is bad. Please Please reply Thank you
