Hi! I am a 26 year old woman and I am rather afraid of taking certain urological exams.
I have been told that I have probably have a hypertonic bladder due to a meatal stenosis. I am going to have to take an exam called a cystoscopy and perhaps have my stenosis widened by dilation or something like that. I'm told it's like a stem the drive into the uretra to widen it.Aparanetly the stenosis has a good chance of comming back after that and the operation needs to be repeated often.

I wanted to know if anyone here had undergone these exams and procedures. Is it ver painful, how long untl one is fully recovered and does it come back?
