l have had my surgery and l thought some ladies may be interested in how things are going. During surgery my gyno decided that my bladder bulge was only very slight so he decided to only repair the bowel which was pretty bad and worse than he thought. It has now been 10 days since my surgery.

Hi Doreen, hope your recovery continues to go well. I was really glad to see a patients after surgery post. I am scheduled for surgery on October 15th for placement of 3 slings (urethra, bladder, and vaginal wall). This reconstructive surgery is what I definitely need but I am so concerned about the external incisions and cathetar. My incisions will be glued not stitched but how did they feel for you? It truly sounds uncomfortable and am looking for any kind of good advice on how to deal with them. The catheter I will have is a direct to the bladder type so it will bypass my urethra and actually come out through a tube above my pubic bone (another incision). I have present numerous questions to the doctor who is performing my surgery and he seems so evasive. He is not my regular dr. but one who specialized in this type of surgery. Did you have a lot of vaginal bleeding after the surgery? Please tell me you all you can and anything you feel comfortable with saying. My main symptom is the prolapsed bladder which feels like a basketball between my legs. The pressure is unbearable and times and after the urodynamic test on my bladder my back is really hurting more and more everyday.
