Go in with a positive attitude-expecting your dr. to resond to your concerns this time. Tell her that you know from your own research and talking to your friends that this isn't normal If your dr. dismisses your concerns again, it is time to find a new dr. Doctors don't hesitate to "fire" patients who are consistently noncompliant, so we as patients shouldn't hesitate to "fire" doctors who do not take our complaints seriously. Good medical care is a partnership, requiring trust from both sides. Don't be afraid to say, "This is affecting my quality of life and I don't understand why that doesn't concern you."
Good Luck!

Hi! I was wondering what ever came of your situation? I read your comment and can relate a bit. It is embarrassing! I just had my second baby and am experiencing vaginal prolapse and I HATE it! I cannot believe it has happened to me! Never even knew there was such a thing! Anyway, please let me know what happened with you. Nice to know their are others out there like me! (33, mom of two)
